     Sir Thomas Crooke, 3rd Bt. is the son of Sir Samuel Crooke, 2nd Bt. and Judith Shirley.1 He married Ellen MacDermot MacCarthy, daughter of Teige MacDermot MacCarthy.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Crooke, of Baltimore, co. Cork [I., 1624] in 1635.2 On 12 July 1666 he obtained a patent for certain lands in Ireland.2 His last will was dated 1 February 1682/83.2
