     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.2 He retired from the military, with the rank of Captain, late of the Scots Guards.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Hodson, of Holybrooke House, co. Wicklow [I., 1789] on 7 September 1972.2 He lived in 2003 at Nantyderry House, Nantyderry, Abergavenny, WalesG.2
