Sir Henry Ainslie Hoare, 5th Bt. was born on 14 April 1824.1 He was the son of Henry Charles Hoare and Anne Penelope Ainslie.3 He married Augusta Frances Clayton East, daughter of Sir East George Clayton East, 1st Bt. and Marianne Frances Bishop, on 15 April 1845.1 He died on 7 July 1894 at age 70.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hoare, of Barn Elms, co. Surrey [G.B., 1786] on 10 January 1857.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chelsea between 1868 and 1874.1

Augusta Frances Anne Hoare was born in 1845.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Ainslie Hoare, 5th Bt. and Augusta Frances Clayton East.3 She married, firstly, William John Nettleship Angerstein on 22 February 1868.1 She married, secondly, Colonel J. St. Aubyn Hastie in 1894.1 She died on 7 November 1922.1
From 22 February 1868, her married name became Angerstein. From 1894, her married name became Hastie.1
