     Maud Phelips Agatha Hanham was the daughter of Commander Thomas Barnabas Hanham and Josephine Ida Dodson Scott.² She died in 1870.¹

     Elizabeth Marianne Hanham was the daughter of Rev. Sir James Hanham, 7th Bt. and Eliza Dean Patey.² She died on 10 July 1825, young.¹

     Sir Peter Richard David Hoare, 8th Bt. was born on 22 March 1932.¹ He was the son of Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt. and Laura Ray Esplen.² He married, firstly, Jane Orme, daughter of Daniel Orme, on 2 September 1961.¹ He and Jane Orme were divorced in 1967.¹ He married, secondly, Katrin Alexa Bernsteil, daughter of Erwin Bernsteil, in 1978.¹ He married, thirdly, Angela Francesca de la Sierra Ayarza y Fernandez, daughter of Fidel Fernando Ayarza y Fernandez, in 1983.¹ He died on 26 June 2004 at age 72.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated in 1950 at Aiglon College, Chesières-Villars, Switzerland^G.⁴ He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1955.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hoare, of Barn Elms, co. Surrey [G.B., 1786] on 29 May 1973.²

     Jane Orme is the daughter of Daniel Orme.² She married Sir Peter Richard David Hoare, 8th Bt., son of Sir Peter William Hoare, 7th Bt. and Laura Ray Esplen, on 2 September 1961.¹ She and Sir Peter Richard David Hoare, 8th Bt. were divorced in 1967.¹

     Sir Richard Hoare was born in September 1649.² He was the son of Henry Hoare and Cecilia (?)^1,2 He was baptised on 8 September 1649 at St. Giles’s, Cripplegate, London, England^G.² He and Susannah Austin obtained a marriage license on 27 July 1672.¹ He died on 6 January 1718/19 at age 69.^1,2
     He was he founded Hoare’s Bank at the sign of the Golden Bottle, Cheapside (now C. Hoare & Co), handling among other people’s Oliver Cromwell’s finances in 1672.³ He was appointed Knight in 1702.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London between 1710 and 1723.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1712.¹

     John Austin lived at Brittons, Essex, England^G.¹

     Susannah Austin was the daughter of John Austin.² She and Sir Richard Hoare obtained a marriage license on 27 July 1672.¹ She died on 24 September 1720.¹
     She was also known as Susanna Austen.³ From 27 July 1672, her married name became Hoare.³

     Richard Hoare was the son of Sir Richard Hoare and Susannah Austin.²
     He was ancestor of the Hoares of Ellisfield.¹

     Henry Hoare was born on 21 July 1677.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Hoare and Susannah Austin.³ He married Jane Benson, daughter of Sir William Benson, on 19 May 1702.¹ He died on 12 March 1724/25 at age 47.¹
     He was a banker at London, England^G.¹ He lived at Stourhead, Wiltshire, England^G.¹
