From before 1693, her married name became Mauleverer.1 After her marriage, Barbara Slingsby was styled as Baroness Arundell of Trerice on 14 February 1692/93. From 14 February 1692/93, her married name became Arundell. After her marriage, Barbara Slingsby was styled as Countess of Pembroke on 21 September 1708. From 21 September 1708, her married name became Herbert.

Lady Barbara Herbert was the daughter of Thomas Herbert, 8th Earl of Pembroke and Barbara Slingsby.2 She married Dudley North, son of Dudley North and Catherine Yale, in 1730.1 She died in 1756.1

She held the office of Maid-of-Honour to Queen Caroline.1 After her marriage, Hon. Mary Howe was styled as Countess of Pembroke on 14 June 1725. From 14 June 1725, her married name became Herbert. From 9 October 1735, her married name became Mordaunt.1
