Montolieu Fox Oliphant Murray, 1st Viscount Elibank1 
He fought in the China Expedition in 1860.1 He was commander of the a naval detachment for the suppression of a negro rising at Morant Bay, Jamaica in 1865.4 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 10th Lord Elibank, of Etrick Forest, co. Selkirk [S., 1643] on 31 May 1871.4 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Murray, of Etrick Forest, co. Selkirk [N.S., 1628] on 31 May 1871.4 He held the office of Lord Lieutenant of Peebles-shire between 1896 and 1908.4 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Peebles-shire.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirkshire.4 He was created 1st Viscount Elibank, of Elibank, co. Selkirk [U.K.] on 3 July 1911.1

Dr. Edward John Scott1 
Dr. Edward John Scott was born on 1 September 1812.2 He was the son of James Scott and Sophia Button.2 He was baptised on 10 April 1814 at St. Mary’s, Portsea, Hampshire, England.2 He married Helen Robertson, daughter of Daniel Robertson and Amelia Helen Clarke, on 2 September 1838 at Titchfield, Hampshire, England.2 He died on 4 May 1857 at age 44 at Southsea, Hampshire, England.2
He lived at Portland Lodge, Southsea, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.) on 11 March 1857.2
