     Henry Upton, 2nd Viscount Templetown was born on 11 November 1799.1 He was the son of John Henry Upton, 1st Viscount Templetown and Lady Mary Montagu.2 He died on 27 January 1863 at age 63 at Whitwick, Leicestershire, England.1 He was buried on 28 March 1863 at Castle Upton, County Antrim, Ireland.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Templetown, co. Antrim [I., 1776] on 21 September 1846.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Templetown, co. Antrim [I., 1806] on 21 September 1846.2
