     Anne Fox married William Maxwell, Earl of Nithsdale, son of William Maxwell, 5th Earl of Nithsdale and Lady Winifred Herbert, on 11 August 1767.¹ She died on 6 March 1773.²
     Her married name became Maxwell.

     Sir Carnaby Haggerston, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1700.² He was the son of William Haggerston and Anne Constable.³ He married Elizabeth Midleton, daughter of Peter Middleton, on 20 November 1721.² He died circa 17 July 1756.² He was buried on 20 July 1756.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Haggerston, of Haggerston, co. Northampton [E., 1642].²

     Elizabeth Midleton was the daughter of Peter Middleton. She married Sir Carnaby Haggerston, 3rd Bt., son of William Haggerston and Anne Constable, on 20 November 1721.¹ She died in December 1769.¹
     She lived Kilvington and Stockeld.¹ She was Yorkshire.¹ Sister and coheir of William Midleton.¹ Her married name became Haggerston. On 20 July 1756 and was buried.¹

     Peter Middleton lived at Stockeld, Yorkshire, England^G.

     Marcia Mary Vavasour was born on 2 February 1816.² She was the daughter of Hon. Sir Edward Marmaduke Joseph Vavasour, 1st Bt. and Marcia Bridget Lane-Fox.^1,2 She married William Constable-Maxwell, 10th Lord Herries of Terregles, son of Marmaduke William Constable-Maxwell and Theresa Apollonia Wakeman, on 12 November 1835.² She died on 13 November 1883 at age 67.²
     From 12 November 1835, her married name became Constable-Maxwell.

     Major Hon. Arthur Michael Cosmo Bertie was born on 29 September 1886.² He was the son of Montagu Arthur Bertie, 7th Earl of Abingdon and Gwendoline Mary Dormer.² He married, firstly, Aline Rose Arbuthnot-Leslie, daughter of George Arbuthnot-Leslie and Mary Rose Leslie, 12th of Warthill, on 15 May 1929.¹ He married, secondly, Lilian Isabel Cary-Elwes, daughter of Charles Edward Joseph Cary-Elwes and Edythe Isabel Parkington, on 7 May 1949.² He died on 2 February 1957 at age 70.²
     He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded twice.² He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He was Honorary Attaché to Petrograd.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹

     Marmaduke Francis Constable-Maxwell, 11th Lord Herries of Terregles was born on 4 October 1837.³ He was the son of William Constable-Maxwell, 10th Lord Herries of Terregles and Marcia Mary Vavasour.⁴ He married Hon. Angela Mary Charlotte Fitzalan-Howard, daughter of Edward George Fitzalan-Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Glossop and Augusta Talbot, on 14 April 1875.³ He died on 5 October 1908 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.³ He succeeded as the 11th Lord Herries of Terregles [S., 1490] on 12 November 1876.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dumfries-shire.³ He was created 1st Baron Herries, of Caerlaverock Castle, co. Dumfries and of Everingham, in the East Riding, co. York [U.K.] on 10 November 1884.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Leeds University, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the East Riding Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of of the East Riding, Yorskhire.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of of Kirkcudbrightshire.³ On his death, his UK Barony became extinct.¹

     Hon. Angela Mary Constable-Maxwell was born on 10 December 1877.¹ She was the daughter of Marmaduke Francis Constable-Maxwell, 11th Lord Herries of Terregles and Hon. Angela Mary Charlotte Fitzalan-Howard.¹ She married James Eric Drummond, 16th Earl of Perth, son of James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan and Margaret Smythe, on 20 April 1904.¹ She died on 24 April 1965 at age 87.¹
     Her married name became Drummond. After her marriage, Hon. Angela Mary Constable-Maxwell was styled as Countess of Perth on 20 August 1937.

     James Eric Drummond, 16th Earl of Perth was born on 17 August 1876.¹ He was the son of James David Drummond, 8th Viscount Strathallan and Margaret Smythe.^2,1 He married Hon. Angela Mary Constable-Maxwell, daughter of Marmaduke Francis Constable-Maxwell, 11th Lord Herries of Terregles and Hon. Angela Mary Charlotte Fitzalan-Howard, on 20 April 1904.² He died on 15 December 1951 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1914.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1916.¹ He held the office of Secretary-General of the League of Nations between 1919 and 1933.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1933.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Italy between 1933 and 1939.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1934.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Lord Drummond of Cromlix [S., 1686] on 20 August 1937.² He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Perth [S., 1605] on 20 August 1937.² He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Strathallan [S., 1686] on 20 August 1937.² He succeeded as the 20th Lord Drummond [S., 1488] on 20 August 1937.² He succeeded as the 12th Lord Maderty [S., 1609] on 20 August 1937.² He was Chief Advisor of Foreign Advisor, Ministry of Information between 1939 and 1940.¹ He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1941 and 1952.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Elizabeth Johnston was the daughter of Sir Archibald Johnston.¹ She married Thomas Hepburn, son of Sir Adam Hepburn of Humbie and Agnes Foulis, on 9 December 1657 at Humbie, East Lothian, Scotland.² She married, secondly, William Drummond, 1st Viscount Strathallan, son of John Drummond, 2nd Lord Maderty and Margaret Leslie, on 28 February 1667/68.³
     From 9 December 1657, her married name became Hepburn.² From 28 February 1667/68, her married name became Drummond.³ After her marriage, Elizabeth Johnston was styled as Viscountess Strathallan on 16 August 1686.
