Sir Adam Hepburn of Humbie1 
He held the office of Senator of the College of Justice.1 He was appointed Knight on 15 November 1641.1 He was Collector-General and treasurer to the Army on 17 August 1643.1 He was Colonel of the infantry regiment, raised in East Lothian, in General Leslie’s army of the Covenant between 1646 and February 1647.1 In 1651 he was captured by Colonel Aldriche at Alyth, and sent to London.1
