William Brereton, 3rd Baron Brereton of Leighlin1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Brereton of Leighlin, co. Carlow [I., 1624] circa April 1664.1 On 20 May 1683 he was one of the founders of the Royal Society.1
Pepys wrote that “I find him a very sober and serious able man. … After dinner he very genteelly went to the organ and played a verse very handsomely.”1

Frances Willoughby1 
From before 1659, her married name became Brereton.1 After her marriage, Frances Willoughby was styled as Baroness Brereton of Leighlin circa April 1664. Her last will was dated 6 September 1680.
