Nicholas Richard Michael Eliot, 9th Earl of Saint Germans1 

Nicholas Richard Michael Eliot, 9th Earl of Saint Germans was born on 26 January 1914.1 He was the son of Montague Charles Eliot, 8th Earl of Saint Germans and Helen Agnes Post.1 He married, firstly, Helen Mary Villiers, daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Walter Villiers and Lady Kathleen Mary Cole, on 25 April 1939.3 He and Helen Mary Villiers were divorced in 1947.3 He married, secondly, Margaret Eleanor Wyndham, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Francis George Wyndham, on 27 May 1948.1 He and Margaret Eleanor Wyndham were divorced in 1959.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Bridget Thomas, daughter of Sir Thomas Shenton Whitelegge Thomas and Lucy Marguerite Montgomery, on 15 November 1965.4,1 He died on 11 March 1988 at age 74.1,2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Saint Germans, co. Cornwall [U.K., 1815] on 19 September 1960.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Eliot of Saint Germans, co. Cornwall [G.B., 1784] on 19 September 1960.1
