     Sir Edward Howard was the son of Sir William Howard and Frances Gouldwell.¹ He died in 1620, without issue.¹
     He was cup-bearer to King James I.¹

     Sir Francis Howard was the son of Sir William Howard and Frances Gouldwell.¹ He married Jane Monson, daughter of Sir William Monson and Dorothy Wallop.¹ He died on 7 July 1651.¹
     He lived at Eastwick, Great Bookham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Sir Charles Howard was the son of Sir William Howard and Frances Gouldwell.¹

     Jane Monson was the daughter of Sir William Monson and Dorothy Wallop.¹ She married Sir Francis Howard, son of Sir William Howard and Frances Gouldwell.¹
     Her married name became Howard.¹

     Sir William Monson was the son of Sir John Monson and Jane Dighton.² He married Dorothy Wallop in 1593.²
     He held the office of Vice-Admiral of England.³ He lived at Kennersley, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight at Cadiz, Spain.²

     Sir Charles Howard was baptised on 17 January 1615.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Francis Howard and Jane Monson.¹ He married Frances Courthope, daughter of Sir George Courthope and Alice Rivers, on 5 August 1641.¹ He died on 20 March 1672/73 at age 58.¹
     He lived at Eastwick, Great Bookham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Frances Courthope was the daughter of Sir George Courthope and Alice Rivers.¹ She married Sir Charles Howard, son of Sir Francis Howard and Jane Monson, on 5 August 1641.²
     Her married name became Howard.

     Mary Anne Parker was the daughter of Thomas Parker and Mary Hawe.² She married Edward Jervis Jervis, 2nd Viscount Saint Vincent of Meaford, son of William Henry Ricketts and Mary Jervis, on 14 April 1810.² She died on 3 January 1855.¹
     From 14 April 1810, her married name became Jervis.² After her marriage, Mary Anne Parker was styled as Viscountess Saint Vincent of Meaford on 13 March 1823.

     Francis Howard, 6th Baron Howard of Effingham was baptised on 17 September 1643.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Howard and Frances Courthope.¹ He married, firstly, Philadelphia Pelham, daughter of Sir Thomas Pelham, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Vane, on 8 July 1673.³ He married, secondly, Susan Felton, daughter of Sir Henry Felton, 2nd Bt. and Susanna Tollemache, on 20 January 1689/90.¹ He died on 30 March 1695 at age 51.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron Howard of Effingham, co. Surrey [E., 1554] on 26 April 1681.¹ He held the office of Governor of Virginia.¹

     Philadelphia Pelham was the daughter of Sir Thomas Pelham, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Vane.³ She married Francis Howard, 6th Baron Howard of Effingham, son of Sir Charles Howard and Frances Courthope, on 8 July 1673.¹ She died on 13 August 1685.¹
     Her married name became Howard.
