Lady Elizabeth Somerset1

Lady Elizabeth Somerset was born circa 1634.3 She was the daughter of Edward Somerset, 2nd Marquess of Worcester and Elizabeth Dormer.1 She married William Herbert, 1st Marquess of Powis, son of Percy Herbert, 2nd Baron Powis and Elizabeth Craven, on 2 August 1654.1 She died on 16 March 1690/91.1
Her married name became Herbert. She was Lady of the Bedchamber to Catherine, Queen Consort of King Charles II.4 After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Somerset was styled as Marchioness of Powis on 24 March 1686/87. She was Governess to the children of King James II between 1688 and 1690.4

William Herbert, 1st Marquess of Powis

William Herbert, 1st Marquess of Powis was born circa 1626.2 He was the son of Percy Herbert, 2nd Baron Powis and Elizabeth Craven.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Somerset, daughter of Edward Somerset, 2nd Marquess of Worcester and Elizabeth Dormer, on 2 August 1654.3 He died on 2 June 1696.2
He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Powis, of Powis, co. Montgomery [E., 1629] on 19 January 1666/67.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Herbert [E., 1622] on 19 January 1666/67.2 He was created 1st Earl of Powis, co. Montgomery [England] on 4 April 1674.2 Between 1678 and 1684 he was suspected of involvement in Popish Plots and incarcerated in the Tower of London.2 He was created 1st Marquess of Powis [England] on 24 March 1686/87.2 He was created 1st Viscount Montgomery, of the town of Montgomery [England] on 24 March 1686/87.2 In 1688 he accompanied James II to Frances and Ireland after the Glorious Revolution.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1687/88 in the 4th Foot.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire in February 1687/88.2 He held the office of Recorder of Denbigh in April 1688.2 He was Steward of the royal manors of Carmarthenshire, Radnorshire and Denbighshire in April 1688.2 He was created 1st Duke of Powis [England] on 12 January 1688/89, Jacobite.2 He was created 1st Marquess of Montgomery [England] on 12 January 1688/89, Jacobite.2 In February 1689/90 he was outlawed in Britain for high treason.2

Lady Margaret O’Brien1

Lady Margaret O’Brien was the daughter of Henry O’Brien, 4th Earl of Thomond and Mary Brereton.1 She married, firstly, Edward Somerset, 2nd Marquess of Worcester, son of Henry Somerset, 1st Marquess of Worcester and Hon. Anne Russell, in August 1639, with a dowry of £20,000.1 She married, secondly, Donogh Kearney, son of Michael Kearney, circa June 1679.3 She died circa 26 July 1681, without surviving issue.3
From August 1639, her married name became Somerset. After her marriage, Lady Margaret O’Brien was styled as Marchioness of Worcester on 18 December 1646. On 28 November 1678 she was found to be insane.1 From circa June 1679, her married name became Kearney.3

Henry O’Brien, 4th Earl of Thomond1 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland]2 He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron of Ibracken [I., 1543] on 31 March 1613, in his father’s lifetime.2 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Thomond [I., 1552] on 5 September 1624.2

He gained the title of 3rd Viscount Scudamore. Admiral Rt. Hon. Edward Boscawen was born on 18 August 1711.1,3 He was the son of Hugh Boscawen, 1st Viscount Falmouth and Charlotte Godfrey.1 He married Frances Glanville, daughter of William Evelyn-Glanville and Frances Glanville, in 1742.1 He died on 10 January 1761 at age 49.2,1
He gained the rank of Admiral of the Blue.1 He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty.1 On 6 December 1758 he received the thanks of Parliament for his service in North America.1 He gained the rank of General in the Royal Marines.1
