Sir Valentine Browne, 1st Bt.1 
He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 12 March 1611/12.2 In 1615 he received confirmation by patent of all his lands (grant from Crown including ‘the Lakes of Killarney, with all the islands of or in teh same, and the fisheries of the said lakes and the soil and bottom thereof.3‘ He was created 1st Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [Ireland] on 16 February 1621/22.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Kerry in 1623.2 He lived at Molahiffe, County Kerry, Ireland.3
