     Christian Ross is the daughter of Ninian Ross, 3rd Lord Ross of Halkhead.¹ She married, firstly, John Mure, 6th of Caldwell, son of Sir John Mure, 5th of Caldwell and Janet Stuart, before 1552.¹ She married, secondly, Nicolas Ramsay of Dalhousie, Carnock, Foulden and Kerington, son of Sir Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie and Nichole Ker, on 5 November 1552.¹
     From before 1552, her married name became Mure.¹ From 5 November 1552, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     John Mure, 6th of Caldwell was the son of Sir John Mure, 5th of Caldwell and Janet Stuart.² He married Lady Isabel Montgomerie, daughter of Hugh Montgomerie, 1st Earl of Eglinton and Lady Helen Campbell. He married Christian Ross, daughter of Ninian Ross, 3rd Lord Ross of Halkhead, before 1552.¹ He died between 1544 and 1552.¹

     Elizabeth Hepburn was the daughter of Sir Patrick Hepburn of Waughton and Luffness and Helen Hepburn.¹ She married George Ramsay of Dalhousie, son of Nicolas Ramsay of Dalhousie, Carnock, Foulden and Kerington.¹ She died in December 1571.¹
     Her married name became Ramsay.¹

     John Diggles was born on 25 July 1658 at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.¹ He was the son of Robert Diggles.¹ He married Anne Hunter on 30 August 1683 at Manchester Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England.¹ He died circa 6 January 1723.¹ He was buried on 9 January 1723.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 28 February 1722.¹
     His last will was dated 7 August 1719.¹ He lived at Booth Hall, Blackley, Lancashire, England.¹

     Marion Bellenden is the daughter of Sir John Bellenden of Auchnoul and Margaret Scott.^1,2 She married, firstly, John Ramsay of Dalhousie, son of George Ramsay of Dalhousie and Elizabeth Hepburn, circa 5 October 1574.¹ She married, secondly, Patrick Murray of Falahill after 1592.¹
     From circa 5 October 1574, her married name became Ramsay.¹ From after 1592, her married name became Murray.¹

     Sir John Bellenden of Auchnoul was the son of Thomas Bellenden of Auchnoul and Agnes Forrester.² He married Margaret Scott, daughter of Marion Scott.² He married, secondly, Barbara Kennedy, daughter of Sir Hew Kennedy, 2nd of Girvan Mains and Lady Janet Stewart, after 30 September 1554.² He married, thirdly, Janet Seton, daughter of Sir Walter Seton, 4th of Touch and Hon. Elizabeth Erskine, on 14 January 1564/65.² He died on 1 October 1576.²
     He held the office of Lord Justice.¹

     Patrick Murray of Falahill married Marion Bellenden, daughter of Sir John Bellenden of Auchnoul and Margaret Scott, after 1592.¹

     Elizabeth Ramsay is the daughter of David Ramsay of Clatty.¹ She married James Ramsay of Cockpen, son of George Ramsay of Dalhousie and Elizabeth Hepburn, on 5 April 1570.¹

     David Ramsay is the son of James Ramsay of Cockpen and Elizabeth Ramsay.¹
     He was living in 1580.¹
