     She was living on 8 February 1652.1

     Elizabeth Rushout was born on 20 February 1682/83.1 She was the daughter of Sir James Rushout, 1st Bt. and Alice Pitt.1 She married, firstly, Sir George Thorold, 1st Bt., son of Charles Thorold and Anne Clarke.1 She married, secondly, George Compton, 4th Earl of Northampton, son of James Compton, 3rd Earl of Northampton and Hon. Mary Noel, on 3 July 1726.1 She died on 15 January 1749/50 at age 66, without issue.1
     Her married name became Thorold. From 3 July 1726, her married name became Compton.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Rushout was styled as Countess of Northampton on 3 July 1726.

     Sir George Thorold, 1st Bt. was the son of Charles Thorold and Anne Clarke.2 He married Elizabeth Rushout, daughter of Sir James Rushout, 1st Bt. and Alice Pitt.1 He died on 20 October 1722, without issue.3
     He was appointed Knight in 1708.3 He was created 1st Baronet Thorold, of Harmston, co. Lincoln [Great Britain] in 1709, with a special remainder to his younger brother.3 He held the office of Sheriff of the City of London in 1710.3 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1720.3 He lived at Harmston, Lincolnshire, England.3
