Dorothy North was born circa 1605.1 She was the daughter of Dudley North, 3rd Baron North and Frances Brocket.1,3 She married, firstly, Richard Lennard, 13th Lord Dacre, son of Sir Henry Lennard, 12th Lord Dacre and Chrysogona Baker, on 4 January 1624/25.1 She married, secondly, Chaloner Chute, son of Chaloner Chute and Ursula Chaloner, on 28 October 1650.1 She died on 21 April 1698.1
From 4 January 1624/25, her married name became Lennard. From 28 October 1650, her married name became Chute.

Chaloner Chute1 
Chaloner Chute was the son of Chaloner Chute and Ursula Chaloner.3 He married, firstly, Anne Scory, daughter of Sir John Scory.3 He married Dorothy North, daughter of Dudley North, 3rd Baron North and Frances Brocket, on 28 October 1650.1 He died on 14 April 1659.3
He was admitted to Middle Temple.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middlesex between 1656 and 1659.3 He held the office of Speaker, House of Commons.3
