     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Prince Charles’s Army.¹ Roderick ‘Og’ Mackintosh usually went by his middle name of Roderick ‘Og’ (or in English, The Younger.)² He fought in the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746.¹

     Elizabeth Throckmorton was born in 1525.² She was the daughter of Sir George Throckmorton and Katherine Vaux.¹ She married, firstly, Sir John Giffard.¹ She married, secondly, William Hodges.¹
     Her married name became Hodges.¹ Her married name became Giffard.¹

     Winifred Throckmorton is the daughter of John Throckmorton and Agnes Wilford.¹ She married John Powell.¹
     Her married name became Powell.¹
