     Sir Henry Lennard, 12th Lord Dacre was baptised on 25 March 1570.¹ He was the son of Sampson Lennard and Margaret Fiennes, Baroness Dacre.¹ He married Chrysogona Baker, daughter of Sir Richard Baker and Mary Giffard, in 1589.¹ He died on 8 August 1616 at age 46.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1596.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Looe in 1597.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Lord Dacre [E., 1321] on 16 March 1611/12.¹

     Chrysogona Baker was the daughter of Sir Richard Baker and Mary Giffard.^1,2 She married Sir Henry Lennard, 12th Lord Dacre, son of Sampson Lennard and Margaret Fiennes, Baroness Dacre, in 1589.¹ She died circa September 1616.¹ She was buried on 30 September 1616.¹
     Her married name became Lennard.

     Sir Richard Baker was born circa 1530.² He was the son of Sir John Baker and Elizabeth Dineley.³ He married, firstly, Catherine Tirrell, daughter of Sir John Tirrell, on 12 June 1552.² He married, secondly, Mary Giffard, daughter of Sir John Giffard and Elizabeth Throckmorton, in 1569.^4,2 He died on 27 May 1594 at Sissinghurst, Kent, England.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Horsham in April 1554.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lancaster in November 1554.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Romney in 1555.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Shoreham in 1558.² In July 1573 he entertained Queen Elizabeth at Sissinghurst.⁵ He was appointed Knight on 31 August 1573.² He lived at Sissinghurst, Kent, England^G.¹

     Richard Lennard, 13th Lord Dacre was born in April 1596.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Lennard, 12th Lord Dacre and Chrysogona Baker.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Throckmorton, daughter of Sir Arthur Throckmorton and Anne Lucas, on 14 July 1617.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy North, daughter of Dudley North, 3rd Baron North and Frances Brocket, on 4 January 1624/25.¹ He died on 18 August 1630 at age 34.
     He succeeded as the 13th Lord Dacre [E., 1321] on 8 August 1616.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. William Edwin Cavendish was born on 18 May 1862.² He was the son of William George Cavendish, 2nd Baron Chesham and Henrietta Frances Lascelles.² He married Elizabeth Janet Baillie, daughter of Thomas Baillie and Elizabeth Ballingall, on 25 March 1885.¹ He died on 28 August 1931 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the British Central Africa Campaign in 1895.² He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1898.² Between 1899 and 1902 Boer War.² He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908.² He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Brigade Commander and Temporay Brigadier-General in 1916.²

     Elizabeth Janet Baillie was born circa 1865. She was the daughter of Thomas Baillie and Elizabeth Ballingall.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. William Edwin Cavendish, son of William George Cavendish, 2nd Baron Chesham and Henrietta Frances Lascelles, on 25 March 1885.¹ She died on 2 May 1935.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     Thomas Baillie was born on 21 June 1823.¹ He was the son of Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt. and Mary Lyon Dennistoun.¹ He married Elizabeth Ballingall, daughter of James Ballingall, in 1849.¹ He died on 7 January 1889 at age 65.¹

     Sir George Baillie of Polkemmet, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 October 1856.¹ He was the son of Thomas Baillie and Elizabeth Ballingall.¹ He died on 2 April 1896 at age 39, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Victoria.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for New South Wales.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Baillie, of Polkemmet, Linlithgowshire [U.K., 1823] on 21 July 1890.¹

     Elizabeth Ballingall is the daughter of James Ballingall.¹ She married Thomas Baillie, son of Sir William Baillie of Polkemmet, 1st Bt. and Mary Lyon Dennistoun, in 1849.¹
     Her married name became Baillie.
