     He was Page to Lord Lyon King of Arms in 1956.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Rifleman (and parachutist) in 1966 in the Queen’s Royal Rifles.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.) in 1977.¹ He was a Hereditary Lord Assessor of the Court of Lord Lyon King of Arm.¹ He held the position of 33rd Chief of the Name and Arms of Hay from in 1978.¹ He succeeded as the 25th Lord Hay [S., 1430] on 17 May 1978.³ He succeeded as the 24th Earl of Erroll [S., 1452] on 17 May 1978.¹ He held the office of Hereditary Lord High Constable of Scotland on 17 May 1978, 28th.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Moncreiffe [N.S., 1685] on 27 February 1985.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel between 1992 and 1997 in the R.M.P.T.A.¹ He held the office of Elected Member of the House of Lords in 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at Woodbury Hall, Sandy, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell was born on 22 August 1955 at Brussels, Belgium^G.¹ She was the daughter of Major Thomas Sidney Astell and Julie Marie Isabelle Jeanne Jacqueline de Jouffroy.^1,2 She married Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll, son of Sir Rupert Iain Kay Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 11th Bt. and Diana Denyse Hay, Countess of Erroll, on 8 May 1982 at Winchester Cathedral, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.³ She died on 13 January 2020 at age 64.⁴
     She was given the name of Isabelle Hohler at birth.³ From 8 May 1982, her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell was styled as Countess of Erroll on 8 May 1982.

     Harry Thomas William Hay, Lord Hay was born on 8 August 1984 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He is the son of Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll and Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell.¹ He married Clementine Camilla Curtis Travis, daughter of Professor Simon Travis, in 2017.²
     He was styled as Lord Hay.¹

     Hon. Richard Merlin Iain Hay was born on 14 December 1990 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He is the son of Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll and Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell.¹
     In 2015 his name was legally changed to Richard Merlin Iain Astell by Royal Licence.²

     Lady Amelia Diana Jacqueline Hay was born on 23 November 1986 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll and Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell.¹

     Lady Laline Lucy Clementine Hay was born on 21 December 1987 at Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Merlin Sereld Victor Gilbert Hay, 24th Earl of Erroll and Isabelle Jacqueline Laline Astell.¹ She married Major Jeremy Sudlow in 2017.²
     From 2017, her married name became Sudlow.²

     Hon. Peregrine David Euan Malcolm Moncreiffe of that Ilk was born on 16 February 1951.² He is the son of Sir Rupert Iain Kay Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 11th Bt. and Diana Denyse Hay, Countess of Erroll.² He married Miranda Mary Fox-Pitt, daughter of Captain Edward Arthur Mervyn Lane Fox-Pitt and Janet Mary Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, on 27 July 1988.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He held the office of Slains Pursuivant in 1970.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was with White Weld & Company, merged with Credit Suisse First Boston Ltd between 1972 and 1982.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1978 in the Atholl Highlanders.² He was with Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, whcih became Shearson Lehman between 1982 and 1986.² He was with E. F. Hutton & Company between 1986 and 1988.² He was chairman of the Scotish Ballet between 1988 and 1990.² He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.² He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 11 January 2001.²

     Caroline Jane Yeats-Brown was born on 28 May 1950.¹ She is the daughter of David George Warre Yeats-Brown and Annesley Kathleen Eden.¹

     Sarah Kate Yeats-Brown was born on 9 July 1961.¹ She is the daughter of David George Warre Yeats-Brown and Annesley Kathleen Eden.¹ She married Hon. Edward Andrew Noel, son of Anthony Gerard Edward Noel, 5th Earl of Gainsborough and Mary Stourton, on 19 July 1997.²
     From 19 July 1997, her married name became Noel.²

     Charles Gore Hay, Lord Kilmarnock was born on 11 October 1850.² He was the son of Major William Harry Hay, 19th Earl of Erroll and Eliza Amelia Gore.¹ He died on 12 October 1850.¹
     He was styled as Lord Kilmarnock.¹
