Julia Margaret Pattle was born on 11 June 1815 at Calcutta, IndiaG.2 She was the daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de l‘Etang.3,2 She married Charles Hay Cameron, son of Charles Cameron and Lady Margaret Hay, in 1838.1 She died on 26 January 1879 at age 63.2
From 1838, her married name became Cameron. She photographed R:Subject in 1866.2
