He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Blake, of Langham, co. Suffolk [G.B., 1772] on 22 January 1880.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Suffolk Militia.1
