     Chevalier Antoine Pierre Ambroise de l‘Etang was born in 1757.2 He married Therese Josephe Blin de Grincourt on 1 March 1788 at Pondicherry, IndiaG.2 He died in 1840.2
     He was in charge of the stables at the Royal Court of Versailles.2 He was with the Nawab of Awadh’s stables at Lucknow, India.2 He was appointed Knight in 1814.2
