     Adeline Maria de lEtang was born circa 1793.2 She was the daughter of Chevalier Antoine Pierre Ambroise de lEtang and Therese Josephe Blin de Grincourt.1 She married James Pattle, son of Thomas Pattle and Sarah Hasleby, on 18 February 1811 at Bhagulpur, India.1,2 She died on 1 November 1845, at sea.1,2
     From 18 February 1811, her married name became Pattle.1

     Adeline Maria Pattle was born in 1812.2 She was the daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Colin Mackenzie, son of Kenneth Francis Mackenzie and Anne Townsend, in May 1832.3 She died in 1836, at sea.2
     From May 1832, her married name became Mackenzie.1

Lt.-Gen. Colin Mackenzie1

     Lt.-Gen. Colin Mackenzie was born on 25 March 1806 at London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Kenneth Francis Mackenzie and Anne Townsend.2 He married, firstly, Adeline Maria Pattle, daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang, in May 1832.2 He married, secondly, Helen Douglas, daughter of Admiral John Erskine Douglas, in 1843.2 He died on 22 October 1881 at age 75 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1867.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of Nationary Biography.2

     Sarah Monckton Pattle was born in 1816 at Calcutta, India.1 She was the daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang.2 She married Sir Henry Thoby Prinsep, son of John Prinsep and Sophia Elizabeth Auriol.3 She died in 1887.3 She was also reported to have died in 1867 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1
     Her married name became Prinsep.3

     Sir Henry Thoby Prinsep was born in 1792.3 He was the son of John Prinsep and Sophia Elizabeth Auriol.1 He married Sarah Monckton Pattle, daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang.1 He died in 1878.1
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.1 He had his portrait photographed by Julia Margaret Pattle in 1866.2

     Sophia Ricketts Pattle was born on 19 March 1829 at Calcutta, India.2,3 She was the daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang.1 She married Sir John Warrender Dalrymple of North Berwick, 7th Bt., son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Dalrymple of North Berwick, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Warrender, on 7 June 1847.1,4 She died on 16 June 1911 at age 82 at Monaco.4
     From 7 June 1847, her married name became Dalrymple.1

Sir John Warrender Dalrymple of North Berwick, 7th Bt.1

     Sir John Warrender Dalrymple of North Berwick, 7th Bt. was born in May 1824.2 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Dalrymple of North Berwick, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Warrender.2 He married Sophia Ricketts Pattle, daughter of James Pattle and Adeline Maria de lEtang, on 7 June 1847.1,2 He died on 28 December 1888 at age 64.2
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1842 and 1872.1 He held the office of Civil and Sessions Judge [Hooghly] between 1856 and 1860.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dalrymple, of North Berwick, co. Haddington [N.S., 1698] on 27 April 1867.2
