     Lt.-Col. Arthur Vincent Gompertz was born in 1888 at Madras, India^G.² He was the son of Alfred Clemons Maxwell Gompertz and Catherine M. S. Rogers.² He married Beatrice Emily Parry in 1915.² He died in 1934, at sea, returning from India.²
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He lived at Barton-on-Sea, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     F/O Philip Arthur Leo Gompertz was born circa 1921.³ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur Vincent Gompertz and Beatrice Emily Parry.^4,3 He married Mary Judith Buxton, daughter of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes, on 6 June 1942.¹ He died on 19 August 1942, killed on active service during the raid on Dieppe.^1,2
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.²

     Edmund Algernon Coryton Lister was born in 1870.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Villiers Lister and Fanny Harriet Coryton.² He married Hermione Frances Sara Wynter, daughter of Philip Henry Massie Wynter and Constance Louisa Dillon, in 1911.² He died in 1936.²

     Major Clement Wynter Lister was born in 1920.² He was the son of Edmund Algernon Coryton Lister and Hermione Frances Sara Wynter.^3,2 He married Mary Judith Buxton, daughter of Leland William Wilberforce Buxton and Ada Mary Oakes, on 18 August 1945.¹ He died on 6 June 2010.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Patrick Thomas Buxton Lister was born on 7 August 1948.¹ He was the son of Major Clement Wynter Lister and Mary Judith Buxton.² He died in 1989.¹

     Philippa Judith Lister was born on 31 May 1946.¹ She is the daughter of Major Clement Wynter Lister and Mary Judith Buxton.² She married David John Lloyd Watkins, son of Tudor Watkins, in 1971.¹ She and David John Lloyd Watkins were divorced in 1980.¹
     From 1971, her married name became Watkins.

     David John Lloyd Watkins is the son of Tudor Watkins.² He married Philippa Judith Lister, daughter of Major Clement Wynter Lister and Mary Judith Buxton, in 1971.¹ He and Philippa Judith Lister were divorced in 1980.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Edith Frances Buxton was born on 30 August 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel.² She married Walter George Hepburne-Scott, 9th Lord Polwarth, son of Walter Hugh Hepburne-Scott, 8th Lord Polwarth and Lady Mary Gordon, on 23 November 1888.¹ She died on 25 March 1930 at age 62.²
     From 23 November 1888, her married name became Hepburne-Scott.²

     Sir Gregory Byrne, 1st Bt. was the son of Daniel Byrne and Anne Taylor.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Copley, daughter of Colonel Christopher Copley and Lady Mary Jones, circa 15 March 1669/70.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Fleming, daughter of Randall Fleming, 16th Lord Slane and Penelope Moore, in 1690.¹ He died in March 1712.¹
     He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 23 June 1662.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Byrne, of Timogue, Queen’s County [Ireland] on 17 May 1671.¹ He was Tax Assessor for Queen’s County.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ballynakill [Ireland] in 1689.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Queen’s County from 28 November 1689 to 10 June 1690.¹

     Mary Catherine Buxton was born on 29 July 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel.² She married Reverend Stewart Gordon Ponsonby, son of Captain Charles Ponsonby, on 27 November 1889.¹ She died on 6 January 1960 at age 89.¹
     From 27 November 1889, her married name became Ponsonby.
