     Anne Hamilton is the daughter of James Hamilton of Pencaitland.² She married Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Francis Grant of Monymusk, 1st Bt. and Jean Meldrum, on 17 April 1717.¹
     From 17 April 1717, her married name became Grant.

     Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 February 1731.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 2nd Bt. and Anne Potts.² He married, firstly, Mary Callender, daughter of Dr. James Callender, on 27 May 1755.¹ He married, secondly, Jessie McLeod, daughter of unknown McLeod of Colbecks, on 8 August 1794.¹ He died on 30 September 1796 at age 65.¹
     In 1748 he raised a company of troops and went with them to India.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Grant, of Monymusk and Cullen, Buchan [N.S., 1705] on 17 September 1778.¹ He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Mary Callender was the daughter of Dr. James Callender.¹ She married Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 2nd Bt. and Anne Potts, on 27 May 1755.¹ She died on 15 February 1787.¹
     From 27 May 1755, her married name became Grant.

     Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 4th Bt. was born on 7 May 1760.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 3rd Bt. and Mary Callender.² He married Mary Forbes, daughter of John Forbes, 9th of Newe and Anne Duff, on 1 January 1788.¹ He died on 17 April 1820 at age 59.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Grant, of Monymusk and Cullen, Buchan [N.S., 1705] on 30 September 1796.¹

     Noel Edward Ponsonby was born on 14 January 1891.¹ He was the son of Reverend Stewart Gordon Ponsonby and Mary Catherine Buxton.¹ He married Mary Adela White-Thomson, daughter of Rt. Rev. Leonard Jauncey White-Thomson and Hon. Margaret Adela Hepburn-Stuart-Forbes-Trefusis, in 1925.² He died in 1928.²
     He was an organist at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.³

     Archibald Grant was born on 1 January 1789.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 4th Bt. and Mary Forbes.² He died on 6 February 1805 at age 16, lost with the East Indiaman Abergavenny.¹

     Sir James Grant of Monymusk, 5th Bt. was born on 17 February 1791.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 4th Bt. and Mary Forbes.² He died on 30 August 1859 at age 68, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Grant, of Monymusk and Cullen, Buchan [N.S., 1705] on 17 April 1820.¹

     Sir Isaac Grant of Monymusk, 6th Bt. was born on 5 July 1792.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 4th Bt. and Mary Forbes.² He died on 19 July 1863 at age 71, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Grant, of Monymusk and Cullen, Buchan [N.S., 1705] on 30 August 1859.¹

     Robert Grant was born on 12 February 1797.¹ He was the son of Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk, 4th Bt. and Mary Forbes.² He married Charlotte Yea, daughter of William Walter Yea, on 14 March 1820.¹ He died on 15 March 1857 at age 60.¹
     He was Convener of Aberdeenshire.¹ He lived at Tillyfour, Scotland^G.¹
