     Mary Felicité Ponsonby was born on 11 September 1898.² She was the daughter of Reverend Stewart Gordon Ponsonby and Mary Catherine Buxton.^3,4 She married Sir John Kennaway, 4th Bt., son of Rt. Hon. Sir John Henry Kennaway, 3rd Bt. and Frances Arbuthnot, on 6 October 1931.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     From 6 October 1931, her married name became Kennaway.

     Richard Noel Kennaway was born on 17 June 1935.¹ He was the son of Sir John Kennaway, 4th Bt. and Mary Felicité Ponsonby.² He died on 16 August 2002 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was a senior lecturer in political science.¹

     Mary Joyce Kennaway was born on 18 August 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Kennaway, 4th Bt. and Mary Felicité Ponsonby.²
     She lived in 2003 at 3 Brookside, Sidmouth, Devon, England^G.¹

     John Gordon was born on 29 March 1826 at Borgue, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir John Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 5th Bt. and Mary Irving.¹ He died on 16 July 1842 at age 16 at Earlston, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G, drowned while bathing.¹

     Jane Gordon was born on 6 July 1827 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 5th Bt. and Mary Irving.¹ She died on 31 January 1908 at age 80 at Earlston, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Curt Gordon was born circa 1836 at Borgue, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 5th Bt. and Mary Irving.¹ She died in 1852, unmarried.¹

     James Irving Gordon was born on 19 December 1838 at Borgue, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir John Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 5th Bt. and Mary Irving.¹ He died in 1862.¹

     Herbert James Gordon was born circa 1839 at Borgue, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir John Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 5th Bt. and Mary Irving.¹

     Colonel Richard Charles Hare was born on 8 August 1844.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Hare and Mary Christina Windham.² He married Mary Windham, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles Ashe Windham, on 4 November 1875.¹ He died on 31 October 1917 at age 73.¹
     He fought in the Ashanti Expedition between 1873 and 1874.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Cheshire Regiment.¹ He was commander of the 63rd and 24th Regimental Districts.¹

     Captain John Thomson Bowers married Henrietta Hare, daughter of Henry Hare and Louisa Maria Santiero, on 15 August 1866.¹ He died in 1889.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Royal Warwickshire Regiment.¹
