Sir William Henry Arthington Worsley, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 January 1861 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,3 He was the son of Arthington Worsley and Marianne Christiana Isabelle Hely Hutchinson.1,4 He married Augusta Chivers Bower, daughter of Edward Chivers Bower, on 13 October 1887.1 He died on 27 November 1936 at age 75.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Worsley, of Hovingham Hall, co. York [U.K., 1838] on 3 June 1861.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the North Riding, Yorkshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1
