Guglielmo Giovanni Maria Marconi, 1st Marchese di Marconi was born on 25 April 1874 at Bologna, Italy.2 He was the son of Signor unknown Marconi and Annie Jameson.3,1 He married, firstly, Hon. Beatrice O’Brien, daughter of Edward Donough O’Brien, 14th Baron of Inchiquin and Hon. Ellen Harriet White, on 16 March 1905.1 He and Hon. Beatrice O’Brien were divorced in 1924.1 He married, secondly, Maria Cristina Bezzi-Scali, daughter of Conte Francesco Bezzi-Scali, on 12 June 1927.2 He died on 20 July 1937 at age 63 at Rome, Italy.1
