     He was educated at Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was a Master Mariner for P&O in 1967.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Reserve.¹

     Angela Marcia Dyke Acland was born on 21 October 1946.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James Alison Acland and Diana Marcia Briggs.¹ She married Maurice FitzGibbon, son of Maurice FitzGibbon, in 1981.¹ She died on 22 June 2003 at age 56, without issue.²

Hon. Murrough O’Brien and Marguerite Lewis, on 30 August 1943.¹ She and Major Edward Cecil O’Brien were divorced in 1968.¹ She died on 18 September 1998 at age 79.²
     From 30 August 1943, her married name became O’Brien.¹ She lived at Barnaderg, Letterfrack, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Major Edward Cecil O’Brien was born on 6 April 1915.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Murrough O’Brien and Marguerite Lewis.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Margaret Acland, daughter of Sir William Henry Dyke Acland, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Emily Barclay, on 30 August 1943.¹ He and Elizabeth Margaret Acland were divorced in 1968.¹ He married, secondly, Phyllis Elsie Margaret Heber-Jones, daughter of Philip Heber-Jones, in 1991.² He died on 21 January 2009 at age 93.³
