     He held the office of Registrar of Deeds [Cape Colony].³ He lived at Worsley, Kenilworth, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.³

     Alice Mason was born circa 1585 at Holland, Lancashire, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Mason and unknown (?)¹ She married John Parker, son of John Parker and Katherine Simpson, in 1606.¹

     Sir Alfred Reginald Sothern Holland, 1st Bt. was born on 15 March 1876.² He was the son of Benjamin Herbert Holland and Agnes Hope Huntly.¹ He married Stretta Aimée Price, daughter of Edward George Price, on 30 April 1910.² He died on 14 September 1948 at age 72.²
     Sir Alfred Reginald Sothern Holland, 1st Bt. usually went by his middle name of Sothern.² He was with the Cape Civil Service between 1894 and 1908.² He was Private Secretary to the Prime Minister [South Africa] between 1902 and 1908.² He was Permanent Head of the Prime Minister’s Department between 1905 and 1908.² He was Trade Commissioner for South Africa between 1908 and 1914.² He was appointed Knight in 1912.² He was Deputy Director-General of Explosives Supply, Ministry of Munitions in 1915.² He was Director-General of Inspections Munitions Department in 1916.² He was Director-General of the Board of Inventions and Research, Admiralty in 1917.² He was created 1st Baronet Holland, of Westwell Manor, co. Oxford [U.K.] on 17 September 1917.² He was Controller of the Cultivation Division, Food Production Department in 1918.² He was chairman of the Central Mining and Investment Corporation between 1925 and 1931.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1943.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) [Cape Colony]²

     Katherine Harrison was born circa 1586 at Wharton Manor, Estholme-in-the-Fylde, Lancashire, England^G.² She married Deemster Ewan Christian, son of William Christian and Mabel Curwen, circa 1599 in a Isle of Man marriage.² She died before 1617 at Ronaldsway, Malew, Isle of Man^G.²

     Mabel Christian was born circa 1599 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.¹ She was the daughter of Deemster Ewan Christian and Katherine Harrison.¹ She married John Curghey, son of Deemster John Curghey, on 17 July 1615 at Kirk Lonan, Isle of Man^G.¹ She died at Ballakillinghan, Kirk Lezayre, Isle of Man^G, without issue.^1,2
     From 17 July 1615, her married name became Curghey.¹

     Edward Christian was born in 1603 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.² He was the son of Deemster Ewan Christian and Katherine Harrison.¹ He married Dorothy Salkeld from 1631 to 1632.¹ He died circa 1654, without issue.¹

     Margery Christian was born on 6 June 1604 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.¹ She was the daughter of Deemster Ewan Christian and Katherine Harrison.¹ She married Captain Sylvester Radcliffe, son of Sylvester Radcliffe.² She died at Knock-Aloe-Moar, Patrick, Isle of Man^G.¹
     Her married name became Radcliffe.²

     Ewan Christian was born in 1606 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.² He was the son of Deemster Ewan Christian and Katherine Harrison.¹ He died on 20 October 1613 at Milntown, Lezayre, Isle of Man^G.^2,1

     Major Boris Hamilton Mylne was born in 1913.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Hamilton Mylne and Kathleen d’Esterre Hubbard.¹ He died on 19 June 1998.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Probyn’s Horse.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹
