Andrew Leslie, 5th Earl of Rothes 
He succeeded as the 5th Lord Leslie [S., 1445] on 28 November 1558.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Rothes [S., 1458] on 28 November 1558.1 On 15 January 1564/65 he was declared Earl by a decreet arbitral of the Crown, which obliged the first son William to give up the title.1

James Ogilvy, 1st Earl of Findlater 
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Ogilvy of Deskford [S., 1615] on 14 February 1627.3 He was created 1st Earl of Findlater [Scotland] on 20 February 1638, with remainder to heirs male of his body succeeding to his estates.3 On 18 October 1641 He got a regrant of his titles with special remainder to his eldest daughter’s husband, Sir Patrick Ogilvy, provided Sir Patrick styled himseld Lord Deskford and Inchmartine.3
