Sir Eric Charles William Mackenzie Penn was born on 9 February 1916.3 He was the son of Captain Eric Frank Penn and Gladys Ebden.3 He married Prudence Stewart-Wilson, daughter of Aubyn Harold Raymond Wilson and Muriel Athelstan Hood Stewart-Stevens, 10th of Balnakeilly, in 1947.3 He died on 12 May 1993 at age 77.4
