     Her married name became Lyon.¹

     Patrick Lyon, Lord Carse was born in 1637.¹ He was the son of David Lyon and Susanna Wood.¹ He married Elizabeth Grey, daughter of unknown Grey.¹ He died on 4 January 1694.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Burgess of Dundee in 1671.¹ He was admitted to Advocate in 1671.¹ He held the office of Burgess of Edinburgh in 1681.¹ He was styled as Lord Carse [Scottish Law Lord] in 1683.¹ He held the office of a Lord of Session in 1683.¹ He held the office of Lord of Justiciary in 1684.¹ He held the office of Admiral Depute in 1684.¹

     Hon. James Lyon was the son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Anne Murray.¹ He died before 13 August 1641, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Angus.¹ He was a Covennanter.¹ He lived at Auldar, Scotland.¹

     Hon. Frederick Lyon was the son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Anne Murray.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Ogilvy, daughter of Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Inchmartine and Anne Campbell.² He married, secondly, Jean Stewart.¹ He died in 1660.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Forfarshire.¹ He held the office of Burgess of Dundee in 1620.¹ In 1622 he had a charter for Brgiton.¹ He was a Covenanter.¹ He lived at Brigton, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Ogilvy was the daughter of Sir Patrick Ogilvy of Inchmartine and Anne Campbell.² She married Hon. Frederick Lyon, son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Earl of Kinghorne and Lady Anne Murray.²
     Her married name became Lyon.²

     Patrick Lyon of Brigton was the son of Hon. Frederick Lyon and Margaret Ogilvy.¹ He married Elizabeth Grey, daughter of unknown Grey.¹
     He lived at Brigton, Scotland^G.¹ He was living in 1666.¹

     Elizabeth Grey was the daughter of unknown Grey. She married, secondly, Patrick Lyon, Lord Carse, son of David Lyon and Susanna Wood.¹ She married, firstly, Patrick Lyon of Brigton, son of Hon. Frederick Lyon and Margaret Ogilvy.²
     Her married name became Lyon.²

     Mary Elizabeth Wren was the daughter of Farren Wren.¹ She married Hon. Thomas Lyon, son of Thomas Lyon, 8th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Jean Nicholson, on 13 June 1774.¹ She died on 13 May 1811.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.

     Mary Thornhill was the daughter of Edward Thornhill.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. George Bowes, son of John Bowes, 9th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Mary Eleanor Bowes, on 14 June 1805.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Barrington Price in 1811.¹
     From 14 June 1805, her married name became Bowes. From 1811, her married name became Price.
