     Euphemia Hamilton is the daughter of Sir Archibald Hamilton of Rosehall, 1st Bt. and Anne Murray.¹ She married Charles Hamilton, son of William Hamilton, 3rd of Wishaw and Mary Erskine, in 1699.¹

     Jean Hamilton was the daughter of Robert Hamilton of Brownmuir.¹ She married Robert Hamilton, younger of Wishaw, son of William Hamilton, 3rd of Wishaw and Anne Hamilton, in 1686.¹

     William Hamilton was born on 25 October 1728.¹ He was the son of William Hamilton, 4th of Wishaw and Bethia Hamilton.¹ He died before 1763, without male issue.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Army.¹

     Hon. Jean Hamilton was born on 26 January 1769.² She was the daughter of Robert Hamilton, 6th of Wishaw and Susan Balfour.¹ She married George Ramsay, son of William Ramsay and Janet Mansfield, on 24 February 1791.^1,3
     From 24 February 1791, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     George Ramsay was the son of William Ramsay and Janet Mansfield.² He married Hon. Jean Hamilton, daughter of Robert Hamilton, 6th of Wishaw and Susan Balfour, on 24 February 1791.^1,3 He died in February 1810.²
     He lived at Barnton, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Georgina Ramsay was the daughter of George Ramsay and Hon. Jean Hamilton.¹ She married Sir Thomas Woolaston White, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Woollaston White, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Blagg, on 4 March 1824.¹ She died on 2 December 1825.²
     From 4 March 1824, her married name became White.¹

     Sir Thomas Woolaston White, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 October 1801.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Woollaston White, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Blagg.² He married, firstly, Georgina Ramsay, daughter of George Ramsay and Hon. Jean Hamilton, on 4 March 1824.² He married, secondly, Mary Euphemia Ramsay, daughter of William Ramsay and Bethia Hamilton, on 31 March 1827.² He died on 7 August 1882 at age 80.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet White, of Wallingwells, co. Nottingham [U.K., 1802] on 28 October 1817.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1839.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)²

     Bethia Hamilton was born on 24 December 1770.² She was the daughter of Robert Hamilton, 6th of Wishaw and Susan Balfour.¹ She married William Ramsay, son of Peter Ramsay, on 9 December 1791.^1,2 She died on 30 August 1809 at age 38.²
     From 9 December 1791, her married name became Ramsay.¹
