Sir Archibald Dunbar of Northfield, 7th Bt.1 
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 22nd Cheshire Regiment.1 He was Convenor of Morayshire between 1847 and 1888.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dunbar, of Northfield [N.S., 1700] on 23 March 1847.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1
