Joan Penelope Sclater-Booth, on 8 July 1950.³ She died on 13 October 2018 at age 91.⁴

     Major Edward Pendarves Dorrien-Smith was born on 26 February 1879 at Buckinghamshire, England^G.² He was the son of Thomas Algernon Smith-Dorrien-Smith and Edith Anna Maria Tower.^1,2 He married Frances Amy Salvin Bowlby, daughter of Edward Salvin Bowlby and Elizabeth Vans Agnew, on 2 June 1915.¹ He died on 12 October 1937 at age 58.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.³ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.³ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Staff Captain between 1914 and 1915 in the 9th Brigade.³ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded in 1915.³ He gained the rank of Brigade Major in 1915 in the 8th Brigade.³ He gained the rank of Major in the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry.⁴ He was member of the British Military Mission to the U.S.A. in 1918.³ He lived at Great Wood, Falmouth, Cornwall, England.³ He lived at Weir Point, Restronguet, Cornwall, England^G.⁵

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Second Lieutenant in the 9th/12th Lancers.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Peek, of Rouston, Devon [U.K., 1874] on 14 September 2004.¹
