     William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace was born on 21 February 1805.² He was the son of Peter King, 7th Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Lady Hester Fortescue.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Ada Augusta Byron, daughter of George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale and Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth, on 8 July 1835.² He married, secondly, Jane Crawford Jenkins, daughter of John Jenkins, on 29 March 1865.² He died on 29 December 1893 at age 88.²
     He was given the name of William King at birth.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 8th Lord King, Baron of Ockham, co. Surrey [G.B., 1725] on 4 June 1833.² He was created 1st Earl of Lovelace [U.K.] on 30 June 1838.² On 30 June 1838 his name was legally changed to William King-Noel by Royal Licence.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Ockham of Ockham, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 30 June 1838.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey between 1840 and 1893.² He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Royal West Surrey Tegiment.²

     Jane Crawford Jenkins was the daughter of John Jenkins.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Jenkins before 1865.¹ She married, secondly, William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace, son of Peter King, 7th Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Lady Hester Fortescue, on 29 March 1865.¹ She died on 27 January 1908.¹
     From 29 March 1865, her married name became King-Noel.¹

     Hon. Ada Augusta Byron was born on 10 December 1815.¹ She was the daughter of George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale and Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth.¹ She married William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace, son of Peter King, 7th Lord King, Baron of Ockham and Lady Hester Fortescue, on 8 July 1835.¹ She died on 29 November 1852 at age 36.¹
     Her married name became King. After her marriage, Hon. Ada Augusta Byron was styled as Countess of Lovelace on 30 June 1838. She was a mathematician and pioneer of early computing efforts.³ She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale was born on 22 January 1788.¹ He was the son of Captain John Byron and Catherine Gordon.³ He was baptised on 1 March 1788 at Marylebone, London, England^G.⁴ He married Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth, daughter of Admiral Sir Ralph Noel, 6th Bt. and Hon. Judith Noel, on 2 January 1815 at Seaham Hall, England^G.⁴ He and Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth were separated in 1816.⁴ He died on 19 April 1824 at age 36 at Missolonghi, Greece^G, from a rheumatic fever.¹ He was buried on 16 July 1824 at Hucknall-Torkard, Nottinghamshire, England^G.⁴

     Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth was born on 17 May 1792 at Elemore Hall, County Durham, England^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Ralph Noel, 6th Bt. and Hon. Judith Noel.⁴ She was baptised on 10 August 1792 at Seaham, County Durham, England^G.³ She married George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale, son of Captain John Byron and Catherine Gordon, on 2 January 1815 at Seaham Hall, England^G.² She and George Gordon Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale were separated in 1816.² She died on 16 May 1860 at age 67 at St. George’s Terrace, Regent’s Park, London, England^G, from bronchitis.² Her will was proven (by probate) on 1 August 1860, at under £60,000.⁵
     She was also known as Annabella.¹ She was given the name of Anne Isabella Milbanke at birth.⁴ From 2 January 1815, her married name became Noel-Byron. After her marriage, Anne Isabella Noel, Baroness Wentworth was styled as Baroness Byron of Rochdale on 2 January 1815. She succeeded as the 11th Baroness Wentworth [E., 1529] on 12 November 1856, suo jure.¹ She succeeded as the 15th Baroness le Despenser [E., 1387] on 12 November 1856, de jure.¹

     Byron Noel King-Noel, 12th Lord Wentworth was born on 12 May 1836.¹ He was the son of William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace and Hon. Ada Augusta Byron.¹ He died on 1 September 1862 at age 26, unmarried.¹
     He was given the name of Byron Noel King at birth.¹ He gained the title of Viscount Ockham. He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy, although he deserted, worked his passage back to Britain and became a shipyard worker.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Lord Wentworth [E., 1529] on 16 May 1860, suo jure.¹ He succeeded as the 16th Lord Despenser [E., 1387] on 16 May 1860, de jure.²

     Ralph Gordon Noel King-Milbanke, 2nd Earl of Lovelace was born on 2 July 1839.¹ He was the son of William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace and Hon. Ada Augusta Byron.¹ He married, firstly, Fannie Heriot, daughter of Reverend George Heriot and Frances Elizabeth (?), on 25 August 1869 at St. George’s Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 He married, secondly, Mary Caroline Stuart-Wortley, daughter of Rt. Hon. James Archibald Stuart-Wortley and Hon. Jane Lawley, on 30 December 1880.¹ He died on 28 August 1906 at age 67.¹
     He was given the name of Ralph Gordon Noel King at birth.¹ On 29 September 1860 his name was legally changed to Ralph Gordon Noel King-Noel by Royal Licence.¹ On 6 November 1861 his name was legally changed to Ralph Gordon Noel King-Milbanke by Royal Licence.¹ He succeeded as the 17th Lord Despenser [E., 1387] on 1 September 1862, de jure.³ He succeeded as the 13th Lord Wentworth [E., 1529] on 1 September 1862, suo jure.³ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Lovelace [U.K., 1838] on 29 December 1893.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Ockham of Ockham, co.      Fannie Heriot was baptised on 1 September 1852 at All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend George Heriot and Frances Elizabeth (?)^1,2 She married Ralph Gordon Noel King-Milbanke, 2nd Earl of Lovelace, son of William King-Noel, 1st Earl of Lovelace and Hon. Ada Augusta Byron, on 25 August 1869 at St. George’s Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 She died on 13 July 1878 at age 25.¹
     From 25 August 1869, her married name became King-Milbanke.^1,2

     Reverend George Heriot was born circa 1817 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England.² He married Frances Elizabeth (?)² He died circa 18 October 1869.² He was buried on 21 October 1869.²
