Charles Robert Darwin1

Charles Robert Darwin was born on 12 February 1809.3 He was the son of Robert Waring Darwin and Susannah Wedgwood.4 He married Emma Wedgwood, daughter of Josiah Wedgwood and Elizabeth Allen, on 29 January 1839.3 He died on 19 April 1882 at age 73.3
He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)5 He was the naturalist.5 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)5 He wrote the book The Origin of Species, published 1859.3 He lived at Downe, Farnborough, Kent, England.5

He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk.1 He was imprisoned for refusing to collect the “ship money.”1 He lived at Ketton, Suffolk, EnglandG.1
