Actor-manager, as which staged Shakespeare revivals.1 Played Iago to his f’s Othello (their sole joint appearance) , at the end of which performance his father was stricken by the attack which carried him off seven weeks later.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1857.1
