     Margaret Battye was born on 26 December 1829 at Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹ She married Reverend David Thomas Gladstone.¹
     Her married name became Gladstone.¹

     Agnes Mary Gladstone was born on 10 November 1856.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend David Thomas Gladstone and Margaret Battye.¹ She died on 22 December 1875 at age 19.¹

     Beatrice Gladstone was born on 23 July 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend David Thomas Gladstone and Margaret Battye.¹

     Edith Margaret Gladstone was born on 8 October 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend David Thomas Gladstone and Margaret Battye.¹

     Ethel Isabel Gladstone was born on 8 June 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend David Thomas Gladstone and Margaret Battye.¹

     Emma Nora Darwin was the daughter of Sir Horace Darwin and Emma Cecilia Farrer.¹ She married Sir James Alan Noel Barlow, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Barlow, 1st Bt. and Ada Helen Dalmahoy, on 6 April 1911.¹ She died in 1989.¹
     From 6 April 1911, her married name became Barlow.¹

     Sir Horace Darwin was born on 13 May 1851.³ He was the son of Charles Robert Darwin and Emma Wedgwood.^4,3 He married Emma Cecilia Farrer, daughter of Thomas Henry Farrer, 1st Baron Farrer and Frances Erskine.⁵
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He lived at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹

     Erasmus Darwin Barlow was born on 15 April 1915.¹ He was the son of Sir James Alan Noel Barlow, 2nd Bt. and Emma Nora Darwin.¹ He married Brigit Ursula Hope Black, daughter of Ladbroke Black, on 9 July 1938.¹ He died in 2005.²
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1940.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) in 1940.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He graduated in 1951 with a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (D.P.M.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Psychiatrists, London (F.R.C.Psych.)¹ He was Senior Lecturer of Pyschological Medicine at St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, London, England^G.¹ He was deputy chairman of Goerge Kent Ltd.¹ He was chairman of Cambridge Instruments Company Ltd.¹ He was a director of CIC Investment Holdings.¹ He was a director of Gillert & Silbert Ltd.¹ He was a director of Group Investors Ltd.¹ He lived in 2003 at Elbrook House, Ashwell, Baldock, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Brigit Ursula Hope Black was born in 1916.² She was the daughter of Ladbroke Black.¹ She married Erasmus Darwin Barlow, son of Sir James Alan Noel Barlow, 2nd Bt. and Emma Nora Darwin, on 9 July 1938.¹ She died on 5 December 2004.²
     From 9 July 1938, her married name became Barlow.¹
