Gilbert de Umfreville, 10th Earl of Angus1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Angus [E., 1283] in March 1325.1 He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Angus [S., c. 1115] in March 1325.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Umfreville [E., 1295] in March 1325.1 In 1332 he was one of the disinherited barons who invaded Scotland.1 He fought in the Battle of Dupplin Muir on 11 August 1332, where he assisted in the victory of Edward Balliol.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Kyme in 1338.2 He fought in the Battle of Neville’s Cross on 17 October 1346, where he was one of the commanders.1 He held the office of Warden of the Marches on 28 May 1352.1 He was a Commissioner on 18 June 1354.1
On his death, none of the legitimate heirs of his grandfather, 8th Earl of Angus, were summoned under his titles.3
