     Jean Melville was the daughter of David Melville of Pitgarvie.¹ She married Reverend William Lyon, 3rd of Wester Ogil, son of George Lyon, 2nd of Wester Ogil and Jean Nisbet.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.¹

     George Lyon was the son of John Lyon, 3rd of Cossins and Margaret Drummond.¹ He married Catherine Wishart of Balgarroch.¹ He died circa 1640.¹
     He lived at Balmuchtie, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Drummond was born circa 1530 at Balloch, Perthshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of William Drummond of Balloch.² She married Robert Spittell.² She married, firstly, John Campbell, 2nd of Murthlie, son of John Campbell, 1st of Lawers.³ She married, thirdly, John Lyon, 3rd of Cossins, son of John Lyon, 2nd of Cossins and Margery Ogilvy.³ She married by contract, secondly, Duncan Campbell, 2nd of Glenlyon, son of Archibald Campbell, 1st of Glenlyon and Mariota Campbell, on 3 March 1568.³ She died circa 1581.¹
     Her married name became Lyon.³ Her married name became Campbell.² Her married name became Spittell.² From 3 March 1568, her married name became Campbell.³

     David Lyon of Baky and Cossins and Haltoun of Erse was the son of John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis and Elizabeth Scrymgeour.² He married Lady Elizabeth Lindsay, daughter of David Lindsay, 1st Duke of Montrose and Elizabeth Hamilton, circa September 1505.³ He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.²
     He lived at Baikie, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Cossins, Scotland^G.³ He lived at Haltoun of Erse, Scotland^G.³ He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.²

     Lady Elizabeth Lindsay was the daughter of David Lindsay, 1st Duke of Montrose and Elizabeth Hamilton.¹ She married David Lyon of Baky and Cossins and Haltoun of Erse, son of John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis and Elizabeth Scrymgeour, circa September 1505.²
     From circa September 1505, her married name became Lyon.

     Elizabeth Mahon was born circa 1797 at Bessborough, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of John Mahon and Lady Charlotte Browne.^1,3 She married Lt.-Gen. Hon. Arthur Grove Annesley, son of Richard Annesley, 2nd Earl Annesley and Anne Lambert, on 28 December 1814.¹ She died on 26 February 1863 at Ann’s Grove, County Cork, Ireland^G.²
     From 28 December 1814, her married name became Grove Annesley.¹

     John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis was the son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Lord Glamis and Isabel Ogilvy.² He married Elizabeth Scrymgeour, daughter of Sir John Scrymgeour and Marion Abernethy, before 1450.² He died on 1 April 1497.
     He held the office of a Lord Auditor of Parliament.¹ He held the office of Lord of Council between 1484 and 1494.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Glamis [S., 1445] in 1486.² He held the office of Great Justice south of the River Forth in 1487/88.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1489.¹ He held the office of Jopint Justiciar of Scotland between 1489 and 1494.¹ He held the office of Scottish Ambassador to England in 1491.¹

     Elizabeth Scrymgeour is the daughter of Sir John Scrymgeour and Marion Abernethy.¹ She married John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis, son of Patrick Lyon, 1st Lord Glamis and Isabel Ogilvy, before 1450.²
     From before 1450, her married name became Lyon.²
