     Jane Bannerman was born on 29 July 1829.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ She was baptised on 7 September 1829 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Maj.-Gen. Millington Henry Synge, son of Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt. and Mary Helena Welsh, on 22 August 1855.¹ She died on 13 January 1915 at age 85.¹
     From 22 August 1855, her married name became Synge.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Millington Henry Synge was born on 1 September 1823.² He was the son of Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt. and Mary Helena Welsh.^1,2 He married Jane Bannerman, daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth, on 22 August 1855.¹ He died on 10 September 1907 at age 84, without surviving issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.² He lived at Dysart, County Clare, Ireland^G.²

     Sir Edward Synge, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 April 1786.² He was the son of Sir Robert Synge, 1st Bt. and Margaret Wolfe.² He married Mary Helena Welsh, daughter of Robert Welsh, on 19 January 1809.² He died on 22 July 1843 at age 57.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Synge, of Kiltrough [U.K., 1801] in 1804.²

     Euphemia Bannerman was born on 14 January 1832.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ She was baptised on 29 February 1832 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She died in 1918, unmarried.¹

     Margaret Bannerman was born on 16 November 1835.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ She was baptised on 5 January 1836 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She died on 30 March 1906 at age 70, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Bannerman was born on 10 June 1837.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ She was baptised on 2 August 1837 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She married Alexander Pirie Hogarth, 5th of Firhill on 19 January 1869.¹ She died on 6 February 1877 at age 39.¹
     From 19 January 1869, her married name became Hogarth.¹

     Alexander Pirie Hogarth, 5th of Firhill was born on 31 December 1834.¹ He married, firstly, Susan Lacy on 13 June 1862.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Bannerman, daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth, on 19 January 1869.²

     Thomasina Bannerman was born on 6 March 1842 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ She married Francis Logie-Pirie, son of Frances Pirie and Euphemia Hogarth, on 28 April 1866 at St. Michael’s Church, East Teignmouth, Devon, England.^1,3 She died on 30 October 1889 at age 47 at Tottingworth Park, Heathfield, Sussex, England.^1,3
     From 28 April 1866, her married name became Logie-Pirie.¹

     Francis Logie-Pirie was born on 16 February 1841 at London, England.² He is the son of Frances Pirie and Euphemia Hogarth.² He married Thomasina Bannerman, daughter of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth, on 28 April 1866 at St. Michael’s Church, East Teignmouth, Devon, England.^1,2 He died on 15 May 1915 at age 74 at Tottingworth Park, Heathfield, Sussex, England.²
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹
