(Conservative) for Barrow-in-Furness between 1918 and 1922.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Captain in the Royal Naval Reserve.1 He was awarded the Royal Humane Society certificate for saving life.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Wallasey between 1922 and 1931.1 He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary for the Board of Trade between 1924 and 1928.1 He was created 1st Baronet Chadwick, of Bidston, co.
