Thomas Bayley Potter was born on 29 November 1817 at Polefield, Prestwich, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Potter and Esther Bayley.1 He married, firstly, Mary Ashton, daughter of Samuel Ashton and Mary Turner, on 5 February 1846 at Hyde Old Chapel, Hyde, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Helena Hicks, daughter of John Hicks and Isabella (?), on 10 March 1887 at St. Paul’s Church, Lambeth, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He died on 6 November 1898 at age 80 at The Hurst, Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 10 November 1898 at Heyshott, Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at London University, London, EnglandG.1 In 1863 he founded the Union and Emancipation Society.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rochdale between 1865 and 1895.1 He lived at Buile Hill, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1

Randolph Albert Fitzhardinge Kingscote was born on 6 February 1867.1 He was the son of Major Fitzhardinge Kingscote and Agnes Grant Stuart.1 He married, firstly, Florence Louise Boehm, daughter of Sir Joseph Edgar Boehm, 1st Bt. and Louisa Frances Boteler, on 16 July 1890.1 He and Florence Louise Boehm were divorced in 1902.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Butler, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Sir William Butler and Elizabeth Southerden Thompson, on 24 July 1903.1 He died on 8 December 1940 at age 73.1
He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He lived at Ciamartha, County Tipperary, IrelandG.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1
