     Mary Gilbert was the daughter of Reverend Edmund Gilbert.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Lord Robert Kerr, son of General William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian and Elizabeth Fortescue, on 14 June 1806.¹ She died on 27 November 1861.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     William Walter Raleigh Kerr was born on 26 November 1809.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Lord Robert Kerr and Mary Gilbert.¹ He married Mary Rouet Wilson, daughter of James Wilson, on 12 February 1850.¹ He died on 26 May 1881 at age 71.¹
     He held the office of Treasurer [Mauritius].¹

     Mary Rouet Wilson was the daughter of James Wilson.¹ She married William Walter Raleigh Kerr, son of Lt.-Col. Lord Robert Kerr and Mary Gilbert, on 12 February 1850.¹ She died on 4 August 1911.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Captain William Walter Raleigh Kerr was born on 8 February 1863.¹ He was the son of William Walter Raleigh Kerr and Mary Rouet Wilson.¹ He married Annabel Jarves, daughter of Hon. James Jackson Jarves, on 22 September 1888.¹ He died on 22 August 1942 at age 79.¹
     He was Honorary Attaché to St. Petersburg in 1888.¹ He was Privy Chamberlain to TH Popes Pius X and Benedict XV.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War, with the BEF.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Médaille de la Reconnaissance Française.¹

     Annabel Jarves was the daughter of Hon. James Jackson Jarves.¹ She married Captain William Walter Raleigh Kerr, son of William Walter Raleigh Kerr and Mary Rouet Wilson, on 22 September 1888.¹ She died on 1 April 1954.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Loris Antonella Thomasa Newland was born on 8 September 1922.⁴ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Foster Reuss Newland and Donna Nennella Salazar.^1,2 She married Peter Francis Walter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian, son of Captain Andrew William Kerr and Marie Constance Annabel Kerr, on 30 April 1943 at Brompton Oratory, Brompton, London, England^G.⁴ She died on 6 January 2007 at age 84.⁴
     From 30 April 1943, her married name became Kerr. After her marriage, Loris Antonella Thomasa Newland was styled as Marchioness of Lothian on 30 April 1943. She was a columnist for the Scottish Daily Express between 1960 and 1975.⁴ She was founder and president of Woman of the Year Lunch.⁴ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1997.¹ She was appointed Dame, Order of St. Gregory in 2002.⁴

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Foster Reuss Newland was born in 1862 at Kingstown, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of Dr. Foster Newland and Sophia Louise Reuss.² He married Donna Nennella Salazar, daughter of Conte Lt.-Gen. Michele Salazar y Muratores, in 1918.² He and Donna Nennella Salazar were divorced in 1928.² He died in 1943 at Magdalen House, Bickington, Barnstaple, Devon, England.²
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Army Medical Service.² He fought in the Boer War.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He fought in the First World War, in France and Italy, where he was mentioned in despatches seven times.² He was Director of Medical Services, Egypt.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He lived at Ditchington Hall, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Mary Colquhoun Fraser was born circa 1850 at India.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Alexander Garden Fraser.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Edward Fox Angelo, son of Lt.-Col. John W. Angelo and Louisa Neate, on 14 October 1869 at St. Mary’s Church, Poonah, Mahrashtra, India.¹ She died on 20 July 1928 at Perth, Western Australia, Australia.¹
     From 14 October 1869, her married name became Angelo.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     Martin John Kershaw was born on 26 July 1954.² He is the son of Captain Ronald Frank Kershaw and Mary Lucette Bertie.^1,2 He married Joanna Lucy Fitzroy, daughter of Lord Edward Anthony Charles FitzRoy and Veronica Mary Ruttledge, on 24 April 1982.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He lived in 2003 at Brights Farm, Christian Malford, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.²

     Edwin FitzRoy was born in 1992.¹ He is the son of Michael Robert Charles FitzRoy and Cornelia A. Garnett.¹
