Nigel Charles Gathorne-Hardy and Doris Cecilia Featherstone Johnston.¹ He married Julia Leigh-Bennett, daughter of Henry Wolley Leigh-Bennett and Elma Rose Price, on 19 July 1947.¹ He died on 21 January 1966 at age 54, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Signals.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery, Territorial Army.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was a local director of Barclays Bank at Pall Mall, London, England^G.¹

     Julia Leigh-Bennett was born on 2 November 1912.² She was the daughter of Henry Wolley Leigh-Bennett and Elma Rose Price.^1,3 She married, firstly, Patrick Guy Gathorne-Hardy, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Nigel Charles Gathorne-Hardy and Doris Cecilia Featherstone Johnston, on 19 July 1947.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Edward C. Croft on 29 May 1974.¹ She died on 19 June 2003 at age 90 at Kew, London, England.⁴
     Her married name became Gathorne-Hardy. From 29 May 1974, her married name became Croft.¹

     Henry Wolley Leigh-Bennett was born on 30 August 1880.² He was the son of Henry Currie Leigh-Bennett.³ He married Elma Rose Price, daughter of George Edward Price and Gertrude Laurence Locke, on 29 October 1907.² He died on 17 June 1951 at age 70.⁴
     He lived at Knightsbridge, London, England^G.⁴ He lived at Wicham House, Newbury, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Thorpe Place, Chertsey, Surrey, England.⁴ He lived at Donnington Grove, Newbury, Berkshire, England.⁴

     Lady Selina Marguerite Gathorne-Hardy was born in 1870 at St. george Hanover Square, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Stewart Gathorne-Hardy, 2nd Earl of Cranbrook and Cicely Marguerite Wilhelmina Ridgway.¹ She married Captain Reginald Hughes-D’Aeth, son of Narborough Hughes-D’Aeth and Agnes Charlotte Knight, on 2 December 1897.¹ She died on 29 May 1934, leaving issue.¹
     From 2 December 1897, her married name became Hughes-D’Aeth.¹

     Lady Jane Ethel Gathorne-Hardy was born in 1872. She was the daughter of John Stewart Gathorne-Hardy, 2nd Earl of Cranbrook and Cicely Marguerite Wilhelmina Ridgway.¹ She died on 26 January 1943, unmarried.¹

     Lady Dorothy Milner Gathorne-Hardy was born on 4 January 1889 at Chelsea, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Stewart Gathorne-Hardy, 2nd Earl of Cranbrook and Cicely Marguerite Wilhelmina Ridgway.^1,3 She married, firstly, Rupert D’Oyly Carte, son of Richard D’Oyly Carte, on 6 June 1907.³ She and Rupert D’Oyly Carte were divorced in 1942.³ She married, secondly, St. Yves de Verteuil on 2 July 1942.³ She died on 21 February 1977 at age 88 at Tobago^G.⁴
     From 6 June 1907, her married name became Carte. From 2 July 1942, her married name became de Verteuil.

     John Alistair Nigel Cameron was born on 24 June 1954.² He is the son of Sir Donald Hamish Cameron of Lochiel, 26th Chief of Clan Cameron and Margaret Doris Gathorne-Hardy.² He married Julia R. Wurtzburg, daughter of Count R. Wurtzburg, in 1982.² He married, secondly, Clare E. Parsons, daughter of Peter Parsons, on 12 November 2009 at Chelsea Register Office, Chelsea, London, England^G.³

     Donald Angus Cameron of Lochiel, 27th Chief of Clan Cameron was born on 2 August 1946.² He is the son of Sir Donald Hamish Cameron of Lochiel, 26th Chief of Clan Cameron and Margaret Doris Gathorne-Hardy.² He married Lady Cecil Nennella Therese Kerr, daughter of Peter Francis Walter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian and Loris Antonella Thomasa Newland, on 1 June 1974.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1966 and 1968 in the 4/5th Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders, Territorial Army.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.) in 1971.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness-shire _from_ ___ 2002.¹ He lived in 2003 at Achnacarry, Spean Bridge, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.² He held the position of 27th Chief of the Clan Cameron from on 26 May 2004.      Lady Cecil Nennella Therese Kerr was born on 22 April 1948.² She is the daughter of Peter Francis Walter Kerr, 12th Marquess of Lothian and Loris Antonella Thomasa Newland.² She married Donald Angus Cameron of Lochiel, 27th Chief of Clan Cameron, son of Sir Donald Hamish Cameron of Lochiel, 26th Chief of Clan Cameron and Margaret Doris Gathorne-Hardy, on 1 June 1974.²
     From 1 June 1974, her married name became Cameron.² She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)²

     Donald Andrew John Cameron, younger of Lochiel was born on 26 November 1976.² He is the son of Donald Angus Cameron of Lochiel, 27th Chief of Clan Cameron and Lady Cecil Nennella Therese Kerr.² He married Sarah Elizabeth Maclay, daughter of Hon. Angus Grenfell Maclay and Hon. Elizabeth Victoria Baillie.³
