     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1959.¹

     Ronald Stratford Scrivener was born on 29 December 1919 at London, England^G.² He was the son of Sir Patrick Scrivener.³ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Drake-Brockman in 1947.³ He and Elizabeth Drake-Brockman were divorced in 1952.³ He married, secondly, Mary Alice Olga Sofia Jane Lane, daughter of S/Ldr.      Rose Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth was born on 15 May 1925 at Baruth, Germany^G.¹ She is the daughter of Friedrich Hermann Christian Hans Fürst zu Solms-Baruth and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.¹ She married Neville Lewis on 3 November 1955 at Stellenbosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹
     From 3 November 1955, her married name became Lewis.

     Neville Lewis was born on 8 October 1895 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He married Rose Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth, daughter of Friedrich Hermann Christian Hans Fürst zu Solms-Baruth and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 3 November 1955 at Stellenbosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He died on 26 June 1972 at age 76.

     Caroline Isabelle Lewis was born on 31 August 1954 at Pinelands, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ She is the daughter of Neville Lewis and Rose Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth.¹

     Frederick Henry Lewis was born on 23 November 1961 at London, England^G.¹ He is the son of Neville Lewis and Rose Gräfin zu Solms-Baruth.¹

     Sophia Christina McEwen was born on 8 April 1961 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She is the daughter of Alexander Dundas McEwen and Cecilia Leontine Mary Gräfin von Weikersheim.²

     Alexander Francis Charles McEwen was born on 12 June 1962 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He is the son of Alexander Dundas McEwen and Cecilia Leontine Mary Gräfin von Weikersheim.¹ He married Natasha Durac Marr, daughter of Peter H. D. Marr, in 1988.²

Sir George Arnold Ford Kennard, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Coleridge Arthur Fitzroy Kennard, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Katherine Barclay, in December 1992 at London, England^G.² She died on 28 April 2011 at age 91.³
