     Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton was born on 2 February 1878 at Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Algernon Percy Douglas-Hamilton and Idonia Charlotte Douglas-Hamilton.¹ She married Reverend James Boyle, son of James Boyle and Susannah Byers, on 8 September 1903 at Church of St. Mary Abbots, Kensington, London, England.^1,3 She died on 27 July 1965 at age 87 at London, England^G.¹
     Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton usually went by her middle name of Catherine.³ From 8 September 1903, her married name became Boyle.¹

     Reverend James Boyle was born on 26 March 1878.² He was the son of James Boyle and Susannah Byers.² He married Edith Lena Catherine Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of Algernon Percy Douglas-Hamilton and Idonia Charlotte Douglas-Hamilton, on 8 September 1903 at Church of St. Mary Abbots, Kensington, London, England.^1,2 He died on 16 November 1941 at age 63 at North Curry, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Lieutenant Aubrey Reginald Douglas-Hamilton was born on 21 April 1851.¹ He was the son of Colonel Francis Seymour Douglas-Hamilton and Emma Catherine Frances Coventry.¹ He married Lucy Fitzgerald, daughter of Hon. Robert Fitzgerald, on 24 July 1879.¹ He died on 21 April 1933 at age 82.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 57th Regiment.¹

     Captain Kenneth Aubrey Fitzgerald Douglas-Hamilton was born on 22 April 1879.¹ He was the son of Lieutenant Aubrey Reginald Douglas-Hamilton and Lucy Fitzgerald.¹ He married Maude Mary de Beauvoir Phillips, daughter of Arthur Charles de Beauvoir Phillips, on 28 October 1916.¹ He and Maude Mary de Beauvoir Phillips were divorced in 1921.¹ He died on 16 August 1944 at age 65, without issue.¹
     He was also known as Kenneth Aubrey Fitzgerald Seymour Hamilton.      Maude Mary de Beauvoir Phillips was born in October 1890 at Staines, London, England.² She was the daughter of Arthur Charles de Beauvoir Phillips.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Kenneth Aubrey Fitzgerald Douglas-Hamilton, son of Lieutenant Aubrey Reginald Douglas-Hamilton and Lucy Fitzgerald, on 28 October 1916.¹ She and Captain Kenneth Aubrey Fitzgerald Douglas-Hamilton were divorced in 1921.¹ She married, secondly, Admiral William Edward Parry on 22 July 1922 at St. Ethelburga Church, London, England.² She died in September 1971 at age 80 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.²
